Zoo Med ReptiVite with D3 2 oz

Zoo Med ReptiVite with D3 is a complete vitamin, mineral, and amino acid supplement specifically formulated for reptiles. The calcium-based formula provides a 2:1 calcium-to-phosphorus ratio and contains vitamin D3 to support calcium utilization as part of a properly balanced reptile diet. Zoo Med states that ReptiVite was originally developed for the San Diego Zoo and was formulated to address nutritional deficiencies associated with captive reptile diets.

ReptiVite with D3 contains a broad spectrum of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, including vitamins A, D3, E, B-complex vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, and essential amino acids. The formula does not contain fillers such as soy, yeast, or sucrose.

For insect-feeding reptiles, place feeder insects in a suitable container or bag with a small amount of ReptiVite and gently shake until the insects are lightly coated. For reptiles eating vegetables, fruit, or prepared foods, lightly dust the food before feeding. Zoo Med recommends using ReptiVite two to three times per week. Supplementation should always be incorporated into an appropriate species-specific feeding program and should not replace a varied and nutritionally balanced diet.

The 2 oz container provides approximately 56 g of supplement. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry location protected from excessive heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
