Zoo Med ReptiSun Nano UVB 5 W

The Zoo Med ReptiSun Nano UVB 5 W is a compact UVB lamp designed for nano and small reptile habitats. It provides UVB, UVA, and visible daylight to support normal calcium metabolism, vitamin D3 synthesis, bone health, and natural daytime behaviour when used at the appropriate distance for the species being housed.

Zoo Med specifies an effective UVB output range of approximately 2–10 inches. The lamp is intended to be positioned according to the animal's UVB requirements and the distance chart supplied on the packaging. The ReptiSun Nano UVB is compatible with the Zoo Med Nano Dome Fixture (LF-35) and Nano Combo Dome Lamp Fixture (LF-36).

The lamp uses only 5 watts and is designed for small terrariums where standard-size UVB lamps may be impractical. Zoo Med provides a 12-month UVB output guarantee. Always provide an appropriate UVB gradient and basking temperature gradient so the animal can regulate its exposure.

Do not place the animal closer than the minimum safe distance indicated by the manufacturer. UVB does not pass effectively through glass, and fine mesh can reduce UVB intensity. This lamp contains mercury and should be handled and disposed of according to applicable lamp disposal regulations.
