Zoo Med Aspen Snake Bedding 24 Qt

Zoo Med Aspen Snake Bedding is a naturalistic substrate designed for snakes, lizards, and other animals that benefit from clean, burrowable bedding. The larger 24 Qt bag is suited to bigger enclosures, deeper substrate layers, multiple habitat changes, or keepers maintaining several animals.

Zoo Med states that Aspen Snake Bedding has a 191% absorbency rating, is odorless and safe for snakes, and contains no toxic aromatic oils like those associated with cedar and similar wood shavings. The bedding is 99.9% dust free and allows animals to create burrows and nests.

Made from renewable aspen, it can also be used for birds, tortoises, turtles, tarantulas, insects, and selected small animals where aspen bedding is appropriate. Spot clean regularly and replace soiled substrate as needed.
