Zoo Med Nano Basking Spot Lamp 25 W

The Zoo Med Nano Basking Spot Lamp 25 W is a compact daytime heat lamp designed for nano terrariums and other small reptile habitats. It provides focused daylight and basking heat for small geckos, hatchling reptiles, amphibians, tarantulas, and other invertebrates that benefit from a localized daytime warming area.

The 25 W lamp is designed for use with Zoo Med Nano fixtures and is well suited to small enclosures where a full-size basking bulb would produce excessive heat or take up too much space. It creates a concentrated basking zone to help support natural thermoregulation and daytime activity.

Use the lamp only in a fixture rated for the bulb's wattage and equipped with an appropriate heat-resistant socket. Position the lamp to create a safe thermal gradient and verify basking and ambient temperatures with suitable thermometers. This lamp provides heat and visible daytime light and is not a substitute for dedicated UVB lighting when UVB is required by the species.

Turn the lamp off at night to maintain a normal day/night cycle. Allow the bulb to cool completely before handling or replacement, and keep the hot lamp and fixture out of direct contact with animals and combustible materials.
