• Width Rule — choose prey roughly the same width as the widest part of the reptile’s body.
• Body Weight Rule — feeders around 10% of the reptile’s body weight for maintenance, or up to 15% of body weight when encouraging healthy weight gain.

Feeding schedules and prey size may vary depending on species, age, metabolism, and overall body condition.
